Gruppo e-Motion

Selected for the CID Cantieri 2017 project, aimed at valorizing emerging Italian artists who are offered productive residencies, economic support and confrontation with the public about Oriente Occidente, the choreographer Manolo Perazzi and the company Gruppo e-Motion present CROSSOVER
A path of extraordinary intensity that captures the man suspended between the real and the imaginary, between instinct and rationality, impulses and brakes, adopting Heraclitus' principles of becoming and energy that does not stop even when it seems to hint at an involution, a stop.
Perazzi seeks control over his flow of actions and thoughts and asks himself: in the continuous becoming, does man lose his identity? Or is it the identity that springs from the continuous becoming? One thing is certain to the vision of the show: the perennial metamorphosis of the body.
The work was finalized in July and September 2017, during the period of residency spent by the choreographer and his dancers at CID. The public performance took place on 7 September at the Auditorium Melotti in Rovereto as part of Oriente Occidente Dance Festival of Rovereto.
