A piedi Nudi project Compañía Sharon Fridman

Known and loved author by the public of Oriente Occidente, Sharon Fridman returns after the success of Rizoma, which had marked the anniversary of the First World War at the Bell of the Fallen in 2014, with a new magniloquent 'community' project in the year in which we celebrate the end of that bloody war.
The choreographer spent a period of residency at CID of about 10 days (July 2018) during which he worked with 60 volunteers to develop the new project entitled A piedi nudi - 100 anni dalla fine della grande guerra..
The result per period of creation was presented as a preview at Oriente Occidente Dance Festival 2018 on the occasion of the Centenary of the end of the Great War in three symbolic places of the First World War in Trentino: the Bell of the Fallen in Rovereto, Piazza Dante in Trento and the Military Shrine at Passo del Tonale.
With this show the Sharon Fridman Company pays tribute to the women who, after the First World War, took over the reins of humanity, rebuilding houses, urgently healing the deep wounds caused by irrational devastation and illuminating a present of hope.
